UTEP Beach Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Beach Volleyball head coach Daniel Foo announced the Miners' 2026 spring schedule, highlighted by a competitive slate against NCAA Tournament teams, reigning conference champions, and multiple in-season tournaments across the country as UTEP continues its climb within Conference USA.

"I am looking forward to this season," Foo said. "It has been fun to see the growth and continue to grow our systems and style of play. We are dedicated to continuing to move up the conference rankings."

UTEP opens the season Feb. 20–21 at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Tournament, beginning with matchups against ULM and Sam Houston on Friday, followed by contests versus McNeese and host TAMUK on Saturday. The Miners then head west for the Arizona Cactus Classic on Feb. 27–28, facing nationally recognized programs including Arizona, Oregon and Grand Canyon.

March features another demanding stretch with a road trip to Tulane (March 13–14) and a return to Arizona for the UA Invitational (March 20–21), where UTEP will square off against Arizona, San Francisco, Missouri State and Tarleton State. The Miners close the month at the South Florida Tournament on March 27–28.

April continues with a trip to Boise State on April 3–4, including matchups against Santa Clara, CSUN, Oregon and the host Broncos. UTEP's final regular-season date is set for April 18 with matches against Texas and Houston Christian, before the Miners turn their attention to the Conference USA Championship, scheduled for April 23–25 at Sugar Beach in Youngsville, Louisiana.

The 2026 schedule features several marquee opponents. Texas and Boise State both earned NCAA Tournament appearances last season, with Boise State exiting in the first round and Texas advancing to the quarterfinals. Both programs also enter the season as reigning conference champions—Texas from the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) and Boise State from the Southland Conference. In Conference USA, FAU returns as the defending league champion, setting the stage for a highly competitive postseason.
