KINGSVILLE, Texas – Behind perfect performances from Madison Hill/Paulina Acuna at No. 2 and Kennedy Llewellyn/Mila Popovic at No. 4/5, the UTEP Beach Volleyball team (2-2) battled through two tight duals but fell 3-2 to McNeese and Texas A&M–Kingsville Saturday morning at the Javelina Beach Classic.
Dual 1 MSU 3, UTEP 2
Hill/Acuna put UTEP on the board with a 21-17, 21-12 win on court 2. Llewellyn/Popovic battled back from a first-set loss to secure a 16-21, 21-16, 18-16 victory on court 5. The Cowgirls clinched the match with a three-set decision on court 3.

Llewellyn/Popovic delivered a strong 21-15, 21-12 straight-set victory on court 4, while Hill/Acuna remained perfect with a 22-20, 21-14 win on court 2. The Javelinas secured the dual with a three-set decision on court 3.
