UTEP Men’s Golf Finishes 10th at the 36th Duck Invitational on Tuesday

FINAL RESULTS

EUGENE, Ore. – UTEP men's golf placed 10^th at the 36^th Annual Duck Invitational hosted by Oregon at Eugene Country Club (par 71 | 6,997 yards) on Tuesday afternoon.

It's the Miners' ninth consecutive top 10 finish this season, and 13^th dating back to the 2024-25 campaign. UTEP last finished out of the top 10 on March 8-9, 2025, at Michigan's Desert Mountain Intercollegiate. The nine straight top-10 finishes to begin the season are the most since the 1997-98 campaign, when the Miners opened with nine consecutive.

The Miners (299-292-294—885) shot 33-over par and finished four strokes behind Iowa (302-285-294—881). #9 Illinois (286-281-290—857) won the team title at 5-over par. Host Oregon (286-291-290—867) finished second, and Michigan State (281-293-294—868) was third.

UTEP tied fifth in the field with 39 birdies.

Dylan Teeter (70-75-73—218) was the top Miner, while finishing tied for 23^rd overall. Teeter penciled in 10 birdies but registered 12 bogeys.

Marc Keller (74-76-73—223) tied for 45^th. Keller tallied six birdies.

Braden Smith (78-71-75—224) tied for 49^th. Smith recorded 11 birdies.

Patrick Foley (81-71-73—225) tied for 54^th. Foley had seven birdies.

Alexandre Godin (77-75-75—227) finished 61^st. Godin had six birdies.

Illinois' #55 Max Herendeen (67-69-66—202) won the individual championship at 11-under par. Herendeen competed as an individual. Oregon's Aiden Krafft (66-71-70—207) was second and two other players tied for third.

NEXT ON THE TEE BOX
UTEP will compete at the Cowboy Classic hosted by Wyoming in Maricopa, Ariz., at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes March 31-April 1. This will mark the second-to-last regular-season tournament before the Conference USA Championship in late April.
