UTEP Men’s Golf’s Dylan Teeter Tied for Sixth after 36 Holes at the Mossy Oak Collegiate Monday

WEST POINT, Miss. – UTEP's Dylan Teeter tied the fourth-lowest first round in tournament history with a 6-under 66 and the eighth-lowest round in tournament history at Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate at Mossy Oak GC (par 72 | 7,212 yards) on Monday.

Teeter was on top of the leaderboard after 18 holes, but stumbled in the second round with a 3-over par 75, dropping five spots and ending the day at 3-under par 141. Teeter recorded five birdies and an eagle on hole 17 (par 5, 523 yards). His only miscue was a bogey on hole two. On the next 18, Teeter registered four bogeys and one birdie.

Patrick Foley is tied for 13^th after carding a 3-under par 69 in round two. Foley went 2-over par 74 in round one, but rebounded to jump up 34 spots. In the second round, Foley penciled in three birdies while he also eagled hole 17.

Marc Keller (80-78—158) is tied for 95^th, Braden Smith (80-80—160) is tied for 98^th and Valentin Luna (87-76—163) is tied for 102^nd.

UTEP (295-306) shot 22-over par 598 and is 18^th overall. The Miners lead last-place ULM (295-306—601) by three strokes. No. 15 Ole Miss (280-279) leads at 17-under 559. Host Mississippi State (290-278—568) is nine strokes behind. No. 10 Vanderbilt (285-286—571) is third.

Ole Miss' No. 15 Tom Fischer (68-70) and Rice's No. 120 Lukas Boandl (73-65) lead the way at 6-under par 138. Mississippi State's Dain Richie (72-67—139) is a stroke behind the leaders.

The final round concludes on Tuesday at 7 a.m. MDT/8 a.m. CT. The Miners will start teeing off at 8:20 a.m. MDT/9:20 CT (Luna at 8:20, Smith at 8:30, Keller at 8:40, Foley at 8:50 and Teeter starts at 9 a.m.).
