UTEP Men’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

EL PASO, Texas – Coming off three consecutive conference championship match appearances, UTEP men's golf released its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday in its inaugural season as a member of the Mountain West. The Miners will take the links in 12 tournaments, including postseason play at the MW Championship during the new campaign.

"We have put together the most competitive schedule since I've been at UTEP. We are playing in elite fields with the top teams and players in the country every single week," UTEP head coach Aaron Puetz said. "We are so grateful for the support and fundraising efforts we have from the Century Club to allow our Student-Athletes to have these experiences. From Florida to Hawai'i, we will be playing all across the U.S. The efforts on the golf course over the past few seasons have opened more competitive opportunities for us, which come with a bigger expectation. We will be ready for the challenge. With some valuable returners and four new members on our team, it's going to be a fun year. Go, Miners!"

UTEP will play in five events in the fall, teeing off the season at USC's Bomb Darts Birds Intercollegiate on Sept. 7-8 in Phoenix, Ariz. (Whirlwind Golf Club). The Miners will head to Colorado Springs to play at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, hosted by Air Force, on Sept. 19-21, at Eisenhower Blue Course. The next three tournaments include New Mexico's William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque (UNM Championship Course) on Sept. 25-26, the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational in Boulder (Boulder Country Club) on Sept. 29-30, and will close out the first half of the season on Oct. 19-20 at ORU's The Clerico in Tulsa, Okla. (Cedar Ridge CC).

The Spring season will commence at the National Invitational Tournament (N.I.T.), hosted by Arizona, at Omni Tucson National on Feb. 1-2. The Miners will compete on the island at Hawai'i's John Burns Intercollegiate, in Kauai on Ocean Course at Hokuala on Feb. 11-13. UTEP returns to Tucson to play at The Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate on March 15-16. Next, the Orange and Blue will tee off at Eastern Michigan's GameAbove Collegiate on March 21-22, at TPC Sawgrass Dye's Valley in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The Miners will see action at USC's GolfWeek Intercollegiate on April 5-6, on Rolling Hills Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif., and will close out the regular season at Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate on April 12-13 at Mossy Oak GC in West Point, Miss.

The Miners will compete at the 2027 Mountain West Men's Golf Championship at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif., on April 27-29. The NCAA Regionals are May 17-19, while the NCAA Championship is May 28-June 2.
