UTEP’s Foley, Godin, Keller, Luna Named NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – UTEP men's golfers Patrick Foley, Alexandre Godin, Marc Keller, and Valentin Luna were honored as 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt All-America Scholars announced by the GCAA on Monday.  
 
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
 
Foley, a junior majoring in finance, posted a 3.72 GPA. Foley played in 11 tournaments, posting a 72.0 stroke average (ranked second best on the team). The product of Lausanne, Switzerland, shot a career-low 64 in round one of the Whirlwind Invitational. He shot a 6-under-par 210 overall, tying for 18th at the Whirlwind. A week later, Foley shot 3-under par 213 at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. Foley earned a spot on the 2026 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
 
Godin, a sophomore majoring in business, fashioned a team-best 3.95 GPA. Overall, Godin played in nine tournaments (27 rounds) and penciled in a 72.9 stroke average. His best 54 was 207 at the championship, while his finish was the highest of his career. The native of Saint Prix, France, earned a spot on the 2026 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and was a CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medalist. Godin was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team. 
 
Keller is a junior with a 3.80 GPA in multidisciplinary studies. Keller, a transfer from UCF, played in 11 tournaments (33 rounds), recording a 72.9 stroke average. Keller's best 54 was a 206 at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational. Keller earned a spot on the 2026 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and was a CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medalist. Keller was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team. 
 
Luna, a junior, worked towards a 3.60 in finance. The native of Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, played in six tournaments, posting a 74.8 stroke average. Luna shot 1-under 218 at the National Invitational Tournament to open the Spring season. Luna earned a spot on the 2026 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
 
Foley, Godin and Keller are coming off a campaign in which their efforts propelled the Miners into the Conference USA Match Play Championship for a third consecutive season. UTEP finished first in stroke play at 31-under par 833, and followed that with a victory over fourth-seeded Middle Tennessee, 4-1, in the match play semifinals. Foley and Godin were named to the CUSA All-Tournament team. Godin finished tied for second at 9-under par 207, while Foley was tied for fifth at 8-under par 208. Keller was 18th at 3-under par 213.
