Four Miners Named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans

EL PASO, Texas – Four members of the UTEP rifle team were named to the 2026 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-America Team, the organization announced.

Paige Hildebrandt, Carlee Valenta, Kameron Wells and Kennedy Wells each earned the national academic honor, which recognizes student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year.

Hildebrandt led the group with her third career CRCA Scholastic All-America selection. Valenta and Kameron Wells each collected the honor for the second time, while Kennedy Wells earned the distinction for the first time in her career.

Hildebrandt, Valenta and Kameron Wells were also recently named to the 2025–26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically, and have completed one full calendar year at their current institution. Eligible nominees must also compete in at least 75 percent of their institution's events or qualify for the NCAA Championships.

As a team, the Miners finished the academic year with a 3.50 GPA.
