UTEP Men’s Golf Concludes Fall Season in the Bahamas This Weekend

EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP men's golf team will conclude the fall portion of its schedule when it competes at the White Sands Bahamas NCAA Invitational at the Ocean Club Golf Course at Paradise Island (par 72 | 7,159 yards) on Friday thru Sunday. 
 
The 54-hole event begins on Friday, Oct. 28. All three rounds (round 1 – Friday, round 2 – Saturday, round 3 – Sunday) will tee off with an 8 a.m. ET/6 MT shotgun start.

The Miners will compete against host VCU, Arkansas State, Delaware, Duke, ULM, Nebraska, Sam Houston, Southern Miss, Stetson, Texas State, and Troy. 
 
Competing for the Miners are Jacob Presutti (73.1), Max Schliesing (73.0), Marcus Khaw (73.0), Greg Holmes (73.5) and Kristjan Burkelca (77.2).

UTEP'S LAST 54… 
The Miners shot a 293 in the final round to place third overall at the 2022 Little Rock Invitational at Chenal Country Cub (Founder's Course – par 72 | 7,115 yards) in Little Rock, Ark., on Oct. 17-18. The Miners (292-289-293—874, +10) started the third round in seventh place and tied Southern Miss with the best score (293) on Tuesday to climb the leaderboard. UTEP led the field with 53 birdies. Jacob Presutti (71-72-73) penciled in a 216 to place tied for eighth place. Presutti tied for the lead with 14 birdies, while he shot 9-under par on par 5 holes.
