UTEP Men’s Golf Set to Compete at the William H. Tucker this Weekend

EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP men's golf team will tee off at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico on Friday and Saturday at UNM Championship Course (par 72 | 7,546 yards) in Albuquerque.
 
Friday's 36 holes will begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. MT. Saturday's final round (18 holes) starts at 7:30 a.m. MT.

The Miners will compete against host New Mexico, BYU, Colorado, Denver, Hawai'i, Loyola Marymount, Nebraska, New Mexico State, North Texas, Northern Illinois, San Francisco, San Diego, San Diego State, TCU, UNLV, Utah Tech, UTEP, UTSA and Wyoming. Also, individuals from Texas.
 
Competing for the Miners are Marcus Khaw (71.0), Max Schliesing (74.7), Kristjan Burkelca, Damon Vilkauskas (75.0), Jacob Presutti (74.0).
 
Burkelca is making his UTEP debut on Friday. Khaw finished tied for ninth at the at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite a few weeks ago. He fired a 213, 3-under par.
