EL PASO – UTEP men's golf head coach Aaron Puetz announced Julien Dulait as the newest Miner on National Signing Day Wednesday. Dulait will start classes and competition in the Fall 2026.

Dulait, a native of Overijse, Belgium, currently attends GO! Atheneneum Etterbeek, and is competing with the Belgian National Team.

"As we bring back our core group next year, Julien is a perfect addition to our program," Puetz said. "With his grades, personality, and athletic ability, we are building our future around a student-athlete like Julien as we head into the Mountain West Conference. A member of his National Squad, we look forward to Julien making an immediate impact here in the 9-1-5."

Dulait has competed in eight events in multiple countries since May, penciling in a stroke average of 72.55. He finished in second place with a 3-under par 213 (73-71-69) and two strokes behind the leader at the Durbuy Junior Open at Five Nations Golf Club on July 22. Dulait followed with a fifth-place finish at the Oudenaarde Junior Open at Golf & Country Club Oudenaarde, with a 2-under par 214 (71-71-72) on July 28, and was seventh at the National Junior Championship at Royal Golf Club du Sart Tilman in a four-round event (70-74-73-73—290) on Aug. 5. In July of 2024, Dulait captured the championship at the Junior Open (#2) at Royal Golf Club Oudenaarde with a 9-under par 204.
