Twenty-Seven UTEP Student-Athletes Slated to Graduate This Weekend

EL PASO, Texas – Twenty-seven past and present UTEP student-athletes will graduate from the University this weekend.

The list features 10 representatives from the football program, six from track and field, four each from soccer and softball, and one apiece from men's golf, tennis and volleyball.

Of the 27 graduates, 18 have earned placement on the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA) during their careers, while nine have been recipients of CUSA Academic Medals (minimum 3.75 cumulative GPA).

Kendall Angulo                                   Softball                       Upland, Calif.
Transfer from Nevada who will play her fourth and final season with the Miners this spring … has recorded 28 at-bats for UTEP with a double, four walks and four RBI, while also throwing 7.1 innings in the circle … member of Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2023) … Marketing major.

Eve Barry                                            Soccer                         New Plymouth, New Zealand
Three-year letterwinner who played in 52 matches, including making 22 starts, while earning more than 2,000 minutes on the pitch … recorded four goals and two assists, including finding the back of the net twice in both 2024 and 2025 … recipient of Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal (2023, 2024, 2025) … member of CUSA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2023, 2024, 2025) … Multidisciplinary Studies major.
