UTEP Men’s Golf to Tee Off at UNM’s William H. Tucker Invitational Sept. 19-20

EL PASO – UTEP men's golf will play in its third tournament of the fall when the Miners take the links at New Mexico's William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque at UNM Championship Course (par 72 | 7,555 yards) starting Friday through Saturday.
 
Round one action will tee off Friday at 7:30 a.m. MDT with a shotgun start. Round two will follow at approximately 12:30 p.m. The final round will be played on Saturday.
 
Making the trip for the Miners are Dylan Teeter (67.7 stroke average), Alexandre Godin (71.3), Patrick Foley (70.2), Braden Smith (71.2), Marc Keller (73.3) and transfer Colin Price competing as an individual. This will be Price's first action as a Miner. 
 
The Miners will compete against host New Mexico, Arkansas State, Colorado, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State,  Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, NM State, ORU, Rice, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Stetson, Tarleton State and USC.

UTEP men's golf fired a 39-under par 825 for a third-place showing (of 12 teams) at the Whirlwind Invitational at Whirlwind G.C. (par 72 | 7,222 yards) on Sept. 8-9.
 
UTEP (274-272-279) finished 13 strokes behind the team champion and host USC (269-272-271—812).
 
Dylan Teeter (67-68-67) tied for second place after shooting a career-best 14-under par 202 and recorded his eighth career top 10 finish, and 14th time as the top Miner. Teeter tallied 14 birdies during the two-day event. He also eagled hole 17 in the first round.
