DALLAS – UTEP's Dylan Teeter was named the Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by league officials in back-to-back weeks on Wednesday. It's Teeter's fourth weekly honor this season and sixth of his career.
Teeter is the program's all-time leader with six CUSA weekly honors, and is the first Miner to be given the award four times during a single season.
Teeter (66-75-68) shot 7-under par 209 and finished in third place at Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate at Mossy Oak GC (par 72 | 7,212 yards) on April 13-14. Teeter tied the fourth-lowest first round in tournament history with a season-best 6-under 66 and the eighth-lowest round in tournament history. He stumbled in the second round, but came up with a stellar third to finish in third place among over 100 competitors.
Teeter led the Miners with 12 birdies and recorded an eagle in the first round. It was Teeter's highest finish since early September. He beat 14 ranked opponents.
Teeter was also named the CUSA Golfer of the Week on Sept. 3 & 10, 2025, when he earned the weekly honor in back-to-back weeks, and on April 8. The product of Bixby, Okla., leads the Miners with a 70.4 stroke average.
