UTEP Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season at Arizona’s Willie Williams Classic March 21-22

EL PASO – The UTEP track and field team will open the outdoor portion of the campaign at the Willie Williams Classic hosted by Arizona in Tucson at Roy P. Drachman Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

The two-day meet will begin on Friday with the field events starting at 2 p.m. MDT/1 p.m. MST, followed by the running events beginning at 6 p.m. MDT. Saturday's field and running events will start at 11 a.m. MDT/10 a.m. MST.

Competing for the women's squad are Loubna Benhadja (400H), Chinique Brown (400), Andrea Castillo (800), Sarah Dovenbarger (pole vault), Ewa Peace (high jump), Lizbeth Fierro (shot put, hammer), Samahdi Foster (400), Vallary Kiplagat (5000), Salma Licon (1500), Denae McFarlane (100), Natalie J. Murillo (hammer, discus), Samoya Neil (200, long jump), Esther Osisike (shot put, discus), Alla Parnov (pole vault), Cailee Phillips (400H), Marissa Simpson (200, 110H), Addison Stricklin (100, 200) and Rejoice Sule (100, 200).

Going for the men are Jakub Belik (high jump), Oleksandr Blonskyi (high jump, pole vault), Alex Brown (triple jump), Harrison Canfield (pole vault), Stephen Carreto (400), Andrew Crosby (1500), Joseph Gomez Whitten (100), Joshua Hill (400), Aleks Hristov (shot put, discus), Noah Jirgens (hammer), Juan Leal (1500), Elijah Munoz (Javelin), Julio Pacheco Estrada (400), Mathew Polk (400), Paul Rotich (5000), Aron Tanui (800), Zacarias Velasquez (long jump), Xavier Westmoreland (shot put, discus), Amir Williams (200, 110H) and Jordani Woodley (110H).
