2011 Schedule Unveiled
UTEP head soccer coach Kevin Cross has revealed the 2011 schedule, with 12 home matches highlighting the 20-contest slate.
UTEP will renew the battle of I-10 in the season and home opener against NM State (Aug. 19), hold the second-annual Border Bash (Aug. 26 & 28), the 12th-annual Border Shootout (Sept. 9 & Sept. 11) while also playing seven of its 11 Conference USA contests at University Field.
Overall the Miners will face three 2010 NCAA Championship participants throughout the 2011 fall season. The Miners will be in search of their 10th straight winning season, all of which have featured 10+ victories.

UTEP soccer is poised to have tremendous leadership for the 2011 season, with Katie Dorman, Chandra Morden, Jessie Pettit and Brittany Thornton comprising the senior class.
The Miners have registered a combined record of 37-21-2 over the past three years, including 28-6 at home.

2011 Miners Soccer Academy To Return In Summer
The dates for the 2011 Miners Soccer Academy have been announced, with the popular camps set to commence on June 13. The camps provide soccer players of all ages and skill levels the chance to learn from Miner players and coaches.

Radcliffe & Johnson Tie The Knot
Love was in the air on May 21, 2011, with former Miner and current assistant coach Jo Radcliffe and UTEP assistant director of speed, strength and conditioning Jordan Johnson getting married.
Radcliffe was a three-year starter for UTEP, compiling 24 points on 10 goals and four assists. Following the conclusion of her career, she was named an assistant coach for UTEP soccer.
Johnson is directly responsible for program design and implementation for the women's soccer and softball teams, as well as assisting with football. He came to UTEP in spring 2009.

UTEP Challenges Alberta Provincial Squad
UTEP capped its 2011 exhibition spring season by playing the Alberta Provincial squad on April 30. It marked the second year in a row that the Miners have faced the squad, and it proved to be a beneficial competition again.
UTEP will continue to have a strong Canadian presence on its 2011 roster.
The seven players from Canada on the roster are in the form of: Hannah Asuchak (Calgary, Alberta), Sarah Dilling (Calgary, Alberta), Mackenzie German (Edmonton, Alberta), Brittany Kindzierski (Edmonton, Alberta), Tori Martyn (St. Alberta, Alberta) Chandra Morden (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and Amanda Pak (Calgary, Alberta).
