Register For The Miner Soccer Academy Summer Camps

The popular Miner Soccer Academy summer camps will return this summer, and individuals are encouraged to sign up soon to ensure their spot. . All camps are open to any and all entrants.

To become more informed be sure to read more about the camps. Fans also have the option of exploring the soccer camp home page in addition to downloading, printing off and filling out the camp registration form.

2015 Schedule Released

The 2015 schedule has been finalized, and fans can now start making plans to cheer on the Miners this fall. Eleven home matches, a midweek road match-up with I-10 rival and a pair of contests against 2014 NCAA Tournament teams highlight the 20-game regular-season docket.

FIFA 2 Star Certified Playing Surface Coming For University Field

University Field, the home for the Miner soccer program since its inception in 1996, is going to have a new look to it this fall. The natural grass field will be converted to FieldTurf Revolution Coolplay. It is a top-notch surface, which will be FIFA 2 star certified.

The work recently got underway and will be completed in time for the 2015 season. The football team's playing surface in the Sun Bowl and practice field at Glory Road will also be replaced, and fans can get all of the details about that project and for University Field here.

Getting It Done In The Classroom

With back-to-back 12-win seasons and third-place finishes in Conference USA, it's evident that UTEP is taking care of business on the pitch. While those are good accomplishments, what has been even more impressive and important has been the effort in the classroom.

In the fall two student-athletes notchedAcademic All-District recognition. and the team was honored by the NSCAAA for its GPA for the fourth straight year.

Most recently, 24 Miners earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll , with 10 of those standouts securing the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal.

Congrats, Graduates!

One of the best moments of the year, if not the best, is graduation day. It's the culmination of all the hard work for some outstanding young ladies, who should make all Miner fans extremely proud for their efforts not only on the pitch but in the classroom.

Recently there were six Miners to finish their time in the Sun City and earn their degrees. Special recognition goes out to Hannah Asuchak, Mackenzie German, Lauren Katada, Tayler O'Hayre, Amanda Pak and Gina Soto. Soccer Grabs Awards At Annual Dinner With The Miners Event

Goalkeeper Sarah Dilling , was appointed as the UTEP Female Athlete of the Year at the 41st Annual Dinner with the Miners event on April 30 while the Miner soccer team took home the community service award for the entire athletic department!

It's Banquet Time

One of the more highly-anticipated events on the year surrounding the program is the annual team banquet. It's a great chance to reflect and celebrate the efforts and accomplishment of the past season in addition to giving a special sendoff to the seniors.

For those who need a crash course on UTEP soccer, you've come to the right place. The Miners have been embraced by El Paso, and they have rewarded the faithful by turning into a league and regional power.   • Second in C-USA with 130 wins after becoming a member in 2005
  • Played in three league championship games, including in 2011
  • Dominant record of 107-22-8 at home since 2002
  • Scored 603 goals to place 14th in the country since 2002
  • Five-time C-USA attendance leader & 58,938 fans since 2005
  • Earned 175 athletic honors & 274 academic awards in its 19-year history*
  • Won at Texas to advance to the second round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament
