Kicking Off C-USA Play

After posting a record of 7-3-0 in non-conference play, UTEP will now turn its attention to its 10-contest Conference USA slate. The Miners, who were predicted to finish fourth out of 14 schools in C-USA will pile up frequent flyer miles by playing all five of their C-USA road contests within the first seven matches.

Promotions A Plenty For Remaining Home Matches

Only five home games remain for the 2015 season, but thanks to the outstanding UTEP marketing staff fans are in for a special treat with each of the contests.

The fun starts with Fiesta Night against Western Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2. Help make it a black out against WKU. All fans who were black will get in free and admission is also free for all kids.

Thanks to the Sunday Funday promotion, all fans will get in free when current league-leader Marshall invades University Field for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 4.

Fans can help raise awareness in the battle against breast cancer while also getting free admission by wearing pink against Charlotte in the Kick For The Cure contest at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23.

It will be your chance to meet an Olympic medal winner when former Miner great Kelly Parker returns to the Sun City. Parker, who will be inducted into the UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame will be on site for the Miners' match-up against Old Dominion at 1 p.m. on Oct. 25. Fans should arrive early to meet Parker while taking advantage of the free BBQ (while supplies last) from Rudy's BBQ.

The regular-season finale is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 against Middle Tennessee. In honor of Senior Night all fans will get in free. Angela Cutaia and Taylor Kidd will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony.

Getting It Done In Non-Conference Play

The Miners got off to a 2-3 start on the year but they made that a distant memory by peel off five straight wins to conclude non-conference play at 7-3-0-. It was UTEP's 14th straight season with a winning record in non-league play.

The Orange and Blue now stand at 101-25-7 in non-league play since 2002. In case you missed out on any of the non-conference victories, you can get caught up to speed by checking out the game recaps:

Parker To Enter UTEP Athletics Hall Of Fame

There have been a lot of great players to don the Orange and Blue for UTEP since the program's inception in 1996, and recently one of them picked up a tremendous honor.

Kelly Parker, who starred for the Miners from 1999-2002, has been selected as a member of the 2015 UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame class.

Parker, along with Troy Bassham, Bob Kitchens, Dick Shinaut and Stacie Townsend will be honored at the induction banquet on Friday, Oct. 23 at the Larry K. Durham Sports Center, as well as at the UTEP football team's Oct. 24 home game versus Florida Atlantic.

Miner fans can meet Parker during the UTEP soccer team's home game against Old Dominion at 1 p.m. on Oct. 25.
