Parker Enters UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame
One of the prouder moments on the year came off the pitch, with former Miner assistant coach and player Kelly Parker being included in the 2015 UTEP Athletics Hall of Fame Class. She was the first member of the soccer program to be so distinguished, and helped comprised the 15th class in program history. Parker was one of the greatest players ever to wear a Miner uniform, piling up 84 points (third all time at school), including a program-best 30 assists during her career (1999-2002). She went on to earn a bronze medal for Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
